Joyetech had been one of the original players in the vape business, and have been known for making good quality and innovative products for quite a while now. The eVic VT is one of the latest mods released by Joyetech, and has been designed to work as an all in one mod. It has been received warmly by the market, as this mod has almost everything that most users will need. There are many features in this product which makes it one of the best-selling mods, and I will go through all the features of it in detail below.
Price
The eVic VT costs approximately $40 USD, however this price varies depending on different websites that sell it. I would say the price is definitely reasonable, seeing as it packs so much in a single box mod.

Features
Alright lets go to the features of the eVic VT. First off, the eVic VT comes in a kit which includes a temperature control tank and some extra coilheads. Users are able to opt for the package which excludes the tank, as some may prefer to use their own atomizers or builds on it. This is extremely useful for new users, and may explain the high sales of the eVic VT, as new users who wants to jump into vaping no longer need to worry about what kind of tanks or atomizers to get. Another cool feature, and also the driving point for me is that the eVic VT has two inbuilt batteries, and has a 5000 mAh capacity! This is by far the only mod with built in batteries with 5000 mAh. This again, is extremely useful for new users, as the hassle of buying batteries separately, an external charger and such are gone!
The eVic VT supports a maximum output of 60 wattages, and this is fairly decent for casual users. This is enough for users who want to make plumes of clouds and yet get good flavour and decent battery life. Unlike most all in one kits, the eVic VT’s tank is removable and it uses a 510 thread, meaning users can change to any atomizers they prefer, future proof! The eVic VT of course, supports both titanium and nickel wires, giving users more variety.
Available in 3 different colours with a racing strip design, it looks fairly sleek and shiny. Of course, the eVic VT also comes with a bright and clear OLED screen, and is fairly small in size, making it easy to carry around. Did I also forgot to mention that this thing is only chargeable by USB! This feature is also the first of it’s kind, whereby it uses only a USB charger to fire up the dual batteries. The box also contains a silicon sleeve which really does come in handy in protecting your mod!
User Experience
Let me first start off first impressions. When I heard that there was a 5000 mAh mod with built in batteries, I got a little excited at the thought of it. I had opted for the black and red racing strips design, and it looks very sleek especially with the matching colours of the tank. When I held it in my hands, it felt extremely glossy, and the paint job is superb. Unlike other coloured mods, this one felt like it was painted with high quality. Another thing that really pleased me was that the eVic VT package had came with a silicon sleeve for the mod. The sleeve made it easier to grip, and was smooth to touch.
Lets go into the details of the mod. First off, there was no buttons to change the settings or wattages, as the eVic VT uses a twist style to change the settings or the watts. On the top of the mod next to the 510 thread, to keep things simple, there is a knob which allows users to push left or right to easily change the temperature or the settings. Although this may be confusing for new users which may take some time to get used to it, trust me when I say that it really does come useful and convenient. For example to go into the menu, you need to push the knob three times to the right, then the screen will blink to signify the changing, and pushing left again will confirm the change. Slightly confusing, nothing too hard, and a quick glance through the manual will get you through it. I got used to the way it works after a few tries.
As I prefer using drippers, my builds tend to average out at about 0.5 ohms or less. People may be thinking, is 60 watts enough power for me? I personally run my eVic VT at about 40-50 watts, and its more than enough for me. I would say that this mod is suitable for tanks and casual users, and it is definitely not necessary to go for high wattage mods. Most of the time, people with mods firing up to 150 watts or 200 watts rarely even use it at those wattages.
One thing that users have to remember is that as Joyetech wanted to maintain the VT as a USB charge only mod, the batteries will have to remain at a low amperage, thus the 60 wattage limit. This mod was designed with convenient and practicality in mind, and any mods firing 100 watts or more will definitely require external charging.
As for the screen, it was a nicely sized OLED one, bright enough to use in any environment. I really liked the temperature control settings, and was quite impressed that Joyetech managed to come up with their own temp control chip.
Lastly, this mod seems to last forever! When I was running it at 22 watts on my subtank mini, I went three full day without needing charge! I have not seen any other mod in the market which has such as long battery life, and somehow due to the long life of it, it became my all day vape due to it’s convenience.
Overall
This mod is extremely handy and wonderful for casual vapers and users who like convenience. With 60 watts of power, it is perfect for users who like to move around. Thanks to the USB charging feature, users could practically charge it anywhere with the given wall charger, or even with a portable charger. For the price that it comes with, this mod is definitely worth a try for any kind of users.
