Eleaf has been famous for making small mods for new users and stealthy users, whereby their previous mods are all tiny, including the eLeaf 10 watts mod! This new 100 watts mod from eLeaf is not the usual iStick that we all know, and it would be interesting to see how they perform in the high wattage market. The iSTick 100 watts is a parallel dual 18650 variable voltage / wattage mod that is really simple to use with plenty of power. The price itself is a real temptation, just under $40 USD for a 100 watt mod! By far
the cheapest mod with an output of at least 100 watts! Let us go
deeper into the features and see how it works.

User Experience
Like I said in the introduction, this mod is super simple and easy to use. It IS an iStick after all, a brand famous for simplicity and ease of use. The main difference with this iStick from the others is that it packs a load of power! And also, the batteries are provided by the user.
Here’s how to use the features easily and without fail:
- To turn the mod on, just simply click the fire button 5 times
- To shift between VV and VW when in use, simply click the button 3 times
- To lock the adjustment buttons, press them both simultaneously for 3 seconds (and the same way to unlock it)
- To switch the screen to a left handed view (for those lefthanded users), turn off the mod then simultaneously press the adjustment button for 3 seconds
- When lighting up the mod, the normal readout changes over to a counter that will stop firing it up at 10 seconds
If you’re a bit nervous as to memorizing or familiarizing yourself with all the features, don’t worry too much as there aren’t really that many and in any case, the simplest of features is more than plenty to bring you hours of endless enjoyment. After all, the iStick is one of those mods where you just turn it on, plug your atomizer up, and just fire up to reap the rewards!
As for the build quality, its really well built when you look at the price tag that it comes with. Of course, don’t expect it to be built like a high end mod, and try not to drop it! At under $40 USD for 100 watts, the quality is superb and I think that Eleaf would have
gotten away with even double the price. It feels relatively sturdy and solid, however one of the drawbacks is that the button rattles and may irritated users. But at this price, the rattle is a small issue for the price that it comes with.
Lastly, the iStick 100 watt mod has one of my favourite battery doors! I can say that this battery door is markedly better than the Sigelei 150 watt TC. The iStick 100 watt’s battery door is held on by two small pair of strong circular magnets. The battery door snaps into place firmly once it reaches contact with the magnet!
When it comes to the iStick series with the renowned rounded body style, the iStick 100 watts is undeniably larger than the rest of its kin, but it is still comfortable to hold. There are no hard corners and it fits into my hand perfectly! One minor complaint that I have is that the iStick 100 watts has moments where the grip seems to falter and feels as if it would literally slip through my fingers. Okay, a bit of an exaggeration there and maybe it’s from the high that my grip loosens up but it’s still a minor drawback in my view. In argument, it may also be due to the shape and the smooth shiny finish.
Performance with it is surprisingly quite superb. To be honest, I had expected the iStick 100 watts to not work as well as it did, as iSticks are known for their power failures when firing. Yet with the iStick 100 watts, I tested a 0.3 ohms build on it, firing at 80 watts. It did not feel any different than when I was using my Sigelei 150 watts, and I dare say the power in terms of performance would be similar. I had no issues with my atomizer reading high or low, nor any jumping of the resistance.
The screen itself is very well lit, brighter than any other iSticks that I have use. Another feature that the iStick 100 watts has is the ease of allowing its batteries to be charged via the USB port at the bottom of the mod. This however, is not recommended as charging dual 18650 batteries via USB will mess up the batteries life.
Now, onto the most important aspect, can users trust this mod? iStick, despite being famous internationally, have been known for their power issues with their mods. I think that it may be due to their built in batteries which was causing the power issue, and for the iStick 100 watts, the user provides the batteries so this may solve the issue, as I never had a power problem with my iStick 100 watts before. Another improvement is that Eleaf changed the atmoizer connection to the opposite side of the fire button. This is a significant upgrade as the older models had the fire button right under the atomizer connection, and juice kept leaking into the button causing many cases of auto firing.
There are also vent holes near the top of the mod, to cool off the circuitry. The older 50 watt iStick used to get a little hot after heavy usage, but with the iStick 100 watts, I had no issues with heat even when running it at 90 watts!
Overall
Overall, this mod is crazily good, comparing it to the price that it comes with! It is super easy to use, any newbie could just click it on and go! This is by far the best mod that iStick has ever came out with, and you with the nice price it comes along with, you really can’t go wrong! The performance and amusement that it delivers could rival several costly and higher end models. So for those who would like to try something powerful yet do not want to spend a bomb, I would definitely recommend the iStick 100 watts.
