The Aspire Clieto sub ohm tank has attracted a lot of attention thanks to its affordability and convenience. For about $20 you can get a device that is very portable and with coils that feature a great design, although they are not compatible with any of the previous versions of the Aspire sub ohm tanks. The kit comes with one Cleito tank, one vape band, one replacement Pyrex Glass Tube, four rubber cuffs available in different colors, one 0.4 Clapton ohm coil and one 0.2 ohm Clapton coil. The Cleito is lightweight and it offers great flavor. In this review, we will find out more about it.
Design and Performance
The Aspire Cleito is lightweight and compact, making it a good option for use on the go. On the internet, it is possible to find the Cleito tank for a price that is around $20 to $25, making it considerably cheaper than other devices of its kind. In spite of the low price, the Cleito offers good quality and it feels like it was made with durability in mind. Although the coil replacements are relatively more expensive than other coils, overall the Cleito offers good value for money.
It comes with two coils that will suit different vaping options. The 0.4 ohm works really well and it provides a great experience in terms of flavor and vapor production. One thing to note is that it is better to keep the temperature below 55W for better results. The 0.2 ohm does a better job between 60 to 65W, but it all depends on your personal preferences. The air flow is remarkably wide and in combination with the coils, is set to offer impressive vapor clouds.
The flavor that you can obtain while using the 0.4ohm Clapton coil is great and the top fill can be re-filled without hassle, thanks to the fact that it offers a lot of space. The flavor experience matches and even exceeds what you get from more expensive options available in the market such as the Herakles Plus and the Crown. If you are looking for intense flavor and strong vapor production, the Aspire Cleito is an excellent choice.
Downsides
Although in general, the Cleito does a very good job and it is an option that is worth considering, there are a few things that could be improved. For instance, the Cleito can become very hot, particularly while using the 0.2 ohm Clapton coil at high wattages. Since the top cap is connected to the coil directly, it gets too hot with higher temperatures. However, this is not a deal breaker as you can use one of the silicon bands that come with the kit.
Another thing we were not so sure about, is the fact that it is not possible to replace the coils without emptying the tank first. The coils act like the chimney of the Cleito tank and although this reduces the amount of pieces of the tank, making it less more practical (particularly for less experienced users and those who travel a lot), the issues is that you have to empty the tank completely before you can change the coils. It should also be noted that if you try to use your own 510 drip tip, it won’t fit well. You are better off sticking to the default Aspire delrin drip-tip.
Finally, since the tank capacity is just 3.5ml and the Clapton coils of the Cleito take a lot of e-liquid and offer strong vapor clouds, the tank could get empty within a short time. On the bright side, since the top fill is convenient and easy to use, you shouldn’t have major issues re-filling the tank. You may need to refill more often due to the small tank capacity, but in the end, this is not something that will affect your experience significantly.
Conclusion
The affordability of the Aspire Cleito is one of the reasons why many people will consider this sub ohm tank. However, it offers more than just a low price and the quality of the performance and design of this device is anything but low. The intense, enjoyable flavor experience, along with the impressive vapor production that it offers, make this a powerful option that is available for less than you would expect.
