SMOK TFV4 Mini Review
The TFV 4 has become something of an overnight sensation recently with a great many of you, like me, singing the praises of a Company who are prepared to go that extra mile in order to give the vaping community a product that looks good, is at the forefront of any technological advances being made, and produce these products in a style and at a price that others only find hard to match. Not forgetting of course, the customary stellar performance that their products seem to produce time and again.
Weighing in at 85g and 73.5mm in height with no fewer than eight individual adjustable air slots, the TFV4 Mini is a compact tank that is designed to fit a broad range of mods thanks to its 22 mm diameter.

There is a marked difference between the standard Core and the new air core too.
Inside the Standard Core all of the air flows through the heated coils to produce a much warmer vapour. They are also introducing Clapton coils which create a larger area to come into contact with the wicking material, creating a more intense flavour and, of course, improving vapour production too.
However, the air core system with increased amounts of air holes will allow some of the air to bypass the heated coils allowing for a mix of both warm air (Heated) and cooler air (Bypassed) to mix together, which will give the user a far better vaping experience, particularly at higher temperature settings, producing what I hope will be a more flavoursome vape and reduced heating of the mouthpiece.
SMOK have planned the launch date for the TFV4 Mini to coincide with the release of their X Cube Mini, Koopor Plus and simply stunning all wooden 75w TC device called the TreeBox. Given its 22mm diameter, they have tried to make sure that it will be as near a perfect fit for most other devices currently available on the market today as well.
The New patented TF-N2 Coil & TF-Ti Coils are using both Nickel 200 and Titanium temperature sensing wire respectively, and should work in harmony with other supported SMOK temperature-control devices.
Also, the coil heads use a Separate Chamber Design, which can significantly improve stability and reduce any interference between each of the individual coils themselves.
There are two options available to the consumer in order to provide you with exactly what you require, so look at both options on offer and if you are not a fan of building and prefer your coils to be pre-built for you then just go straight for the single kit. Or for those of you who like to have the option to build as well then the mini kit will clearly be your best choice.
SMOK have also included two colour choices for you as well. An all Stainless Steel edition or a Night Black finished edition.
Overall
All moving parts including the opening of the top cap for filling, replacing the coil heads and taking the tank apart for the purpose of cleaning and building is a very straightforward, smooth and effortless experience. The RBA section is a flawless performer also, just like the larger TFV 4 with easy access to the deck for building once again based on a very well thought out design that allows for the use of Clapton coils as well.
The tank capacity of 3.5ml is sufficient for a tank of this size in my opinion and the double layered drip tip to help reduce the build up of heat at high temperatures appears to work very well. I still live in hope that SMOK will develop and release an organic cotton 2.0Ω coil, which will suit so many vapers who do not wish to join the sub ohm culture but benefit from the improved flavour that an Organic Cotton Coil can produce.
You may also be surprised to find that non-sub ohm vapers far out way the sub ohm vapers, so from a purely financial perspective it makes a great deal of sense to include one in the range, particularly after seeing them being produced buy other manufacturers already.
An eight-way fully adjustable air intake system should allow for ultra fine tuning of the TFV4 Mini to suit your personal style of vaping, so they seem to have this covered also.
If you are after a smaller version of one of the best devised sub ohm tanks on the market at a price that does not come close to matching its performance and build quality, with a never-ending choice of coil options (2.0Ω Please!) then it would appear you have everything that you require right here and leak free!
