If you used the original eVic, let’s start by saying the Supreme came a long way. The new design is refined with over the top features, particularly the OLED screen, and packs way more power, coming it at 30 watts. The striking design and finish is certain to get attention. Joyetech’s personal vaporizer packs power, looks, and advanced gadgetry to satisfy the nerd in any vaper. If you love manipulating gadgets, you will get a kick out of setting up the many different feature. It is highly customizable, with the possibility to swap atomizers, batteries and tanks, allowing you to change it as you see fit.
Build Quality
The intelligent Joyetech eVic Supreme looks and feels like a high-end vaporizer. The stainless steel finishes look and feel great, durable, and easy to keep clean. The whole solid steel construction is impressive. The OLED display fitting seamlessly around the controller head part of the body, showcases the attention to detail that went into the design. The overall construction of the vaporizer is above average, and when compared to the original eVic, they are two completely different pieces of hardware, both in looks and power. Coming it at 5.5” in length and just under 1” in diameter, it’s slightly larger than its predecessor, but still small enough not to feel bulky.
Much more refined, and on the luxurious feel type end. It quickly gained popularity with the automatic vaporizer crowd, and I can admit, I’m happy to own one myself, not so much because it catches people’s attention, but because it operates great, and ok… I get a kick out of showing it off to friends. But, I don’t want to mislead the readers to think this device is all about the clear image display or bells and whistles. The Supreme offers useful and advanced functions for advanced users.
Finally, almost every piece is made of steel, and replaceable, from the 510/eGo threads, battery connectors, to the atomizer, making a fully customizable personal vaporizer. But more importantly, Joyetech offers replacements parts, allowing you to keep your device for a long time, and adding value to your investment.
Features
OLED Screen: The first thing that sticks out, is the large display. It can contrast using dark background with bright text or lit background with dark text. It’s even capable of 16 colors of grayscale and displays uploaded photos in black & white. You even get to set a wallpaper of your choice!
Everything from the settings, to temperature and battery life, time & date can all display at once on the screen, coming in at a size of 0.96”, and resolution of 64 x 128 pixels, even if it’s in greyscale and totally unnecessary, it’s the best screen I have seen on a vaporizer to date. You can fully customize what is displayed on the screen.
Dial Control: Located right below the display, between the stainless tube and the head of your Joyetech eVic Supreme, a 360 degree rotating dial is used to control the device. The dial clicks on different lock spots that change the displayed menus and options, allowing you to enter device settings menu, power & temperature settings, setting the device in “sleep” standby mode, manual or auto puff… the list goes on.
The eVic Supreme has a long list of customizable functions, along with calendar, puff count analytics and so on, and you could literally spend hours playing with it. Luckily, the rotating dial helps tremendously. It feels intuitive, and allowed me to skip the rather large visual instructions booklet by simply following the menus.
PC Software: To add to the experience, and facilitate it even further, you can use the MyVaper software directly from your computer, allowing you to access and set all the available options directly from your desktop; Offered on both Mac and PC, you can quickly configure your vaporizer.
It even charts your vaping so you can keep track of how well you are doing in terms of controlling intake, including the option to set an alarm to ring at a selected puff count. Password protection lock, temperature, wattage regulation, uploading photos, and all other options on the device are controllable through the MyVaper software.
Mini-USB Port: The Joyetech eVic Supreme comes a rubber cover that’s not hinged to the device, with an overlapping lip for easy removal. Through the port, we both change and take advantage of the computer software or uploading images.
Power & Battery
The eVic Supreme packs 30 Watts allowing for full variable voltage and wattage. Adjustable in 0.1V, you can set it anywhere between 3.0 and 6.0 volts, and 0.1W from 2.0 to 30 watts, not that you will ever need that much power. It supports atomizers from 0.5 ohms to 5 ohms.Joyetech’s Supreme comes with a standard 2100mAh Sony 18650 VTC4 battery. I can attest on the quality of the battery, considering it performs extremely well under the circumstance of having to supply so much power and a large display. The sleep mode function certainly helps the battery get through the day, and you really don’t have to mess with it much once you have it set for your tank.

Conclusion
When I first saw the release of the eVic Supreme, I brushed it off as being a gadget with no real world utility. In fact, it took me months before actually buying one, and I almost never did. It took a good friend of mine, and longtime vaper, to tell me more about it before I finally bit in. As he explained how quickly he would configure his settings for a giving tank and e liquid on his computer, while it was charging, quickly turned my geek mode on. I bought it, I used it for a couple of months, and never stopped.
It’s considered advanced because you can control it with software, display greyscale images on the clear display, and such, but it’s fundamentally simple and mostly offers important or valuable settings. With that said, they didn’t hold back on quality, and that’s what makes the eVic Supreme a really good personal vaporizer. The whole thing is made of stainless steel and built to last, as mentioned, you can replace almost every part, and with the help of Joyetech, you can potentially keep it forever. I recommend it for the build quality above all, and the gizmos, software and display second. Together, it makes one awesome APV.
