Today we get to take a look at the VaporKing disposable e-cigarettes. When we first saw the killer price advertised (just $9.95 for 4 units!) we thought that surely the unit would leave much to be desired. Let’s just say we were wrong on that one! Really wrong! And we couldn’t be happier!
Design & Battery Life:
These e-cigarettes are a little higher capacity than what we’re used to seeing. While other competitors are advertising standard disposables at 200 puffs and high capacity disposables at 400 puffs, Vapor King’s disposables come in at a solid 500 puffs each. While I’m typically pretty hard on my e-cigs this one did feel like it was certainly in the ballpark of 500 puffs. Each e-cigarette contains a 16 mg nicotine concentration. We’ll be getting into pricing specifics a little later but let’s just say that this product is a great bargain.
The one downside we found to the design is that the unit really looks way too much like a traditional tobacco cigarette. The paint scheme mimics a cigarette exactly and the tip glows orange. For some people, particularly new users, this may seem like a positive. You want it to feel like a real cigarette after all right? Well, the downside is that vaping indoors, in public, suddenly becomes a problem when your e-cig is the spitting image of a tabacco ciagarette. Typically my perfered units are off-colour and have a an odd coloured glow.
Vapor Quality & Flavors:
As can be expected, the vapor thickness is a little lite; as is the case with most disposables. This will work just fine for lite smokers but heavy or long time smokers would be best advised to move on to one of the full starter kits for their best chance at quiting. That said, the vapor quality is definitely on par with the competitors and the fact that the you get many more puffs in this unit is a huge plus. As is typical for diposables, these units are available in two flavors; regular and menthol. The regular is quite satisfying though it’s far from the actual flavor of tobacco. Likewise, the menthol is very enjoyable and can be quite refreshing. I like to keep a couple of menthol e-cigs around for when I feel like a quick change of pace.
Price & Warranty:
As we said earlier these units are really an unbelievable deal! While other companies are charging somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 per disposable Vapor King is selling the 4-Packs for just 9.95! Even more remarkable is that the aforementioned other companies are usually selling their low end models (ie: the 200 puff variety) for these prices. With Vapor King you’re getting a full 500 puffs! At a quarter of the price! This is hands down the best deal we’ve come across on disposables and the units are on par with the top brands.
Conclusion:
These are our favorite kinds of conclusions cause we get to be short and sweet! This unit is on par, performance wise, with the top preformers in the field of single use e-cigs. It’s also hands down the best deal we’ve ever seen on a disposable. The 10 dollar 4 pack represents an average savings of about 75% when compared to the price it would cost to buy 4 units from one of their competitors. It’s simple, if you’re determined to buy a disposable instead of going all in on a starter kit; this is the disposable you want.
